hey guy i have a 580 ext efi its new to me and one of the injecters must be dirty any way to clean them use injecter cleaner in tank but still don,t work when i put my hand over that side it works great i thought it was the wireing so i change sides the same thing any one know what to clean it with

when i hole my hand over the front of the barrel i took the injecter off and i clean it with ultrasonic cleaner make some diffents but not great still bogging out give it the gas fast and it just dies out i must have a bad injecter

What barrel? Are you carrying a gun too? Oil barrel? Exhaust pipe?

its in front of the throttle body it call a the gas chamber and its a 94 there are no codes

No code indicates the fuel injector circuit is OK (although I'm not sure if a bad injector would always show a code). I have looked for over a half hour at two different parts fisches for your sled and can't find the barrel (gas chamber) that you refer to. Pefhaps you could post a picture? Also, proofreading your typing before you post would help us make sense of it easier.

Um, yeah, you're looking for codes on the injectors themselves? You're not going to get any lol. The codes are going to be flashed by a LCD on the ECU. Looking at it(the ECU) from the front, its on the right hand side in the alluminum housing. Its cover by a plastic eye looking thing. The LED is red and should flash once when the ECU is turned on.

Yep turns out it was a bad ground from the ECU to the frame. The ground had always been there but when I repainted the frame last summer it must of f*** it up. Now its grounded directly to the battary.

I think he means the throttle bodies. (gas chamber)

yes finally someone that know what i,m talking about when i but my hand over clutch side it runs perfect so i took the injector out on that side an clean it works better but not right has good take off but die out was told the injector is bad on that side also was told that the injector was bad that year 1994 so i just order two new ones . and no i don,t have manual was bought second hand i got it for 500 and its in perfect shape that why i don,t have the manual

Me no undestan how u put han ova thotel bodee when it on sled. part infron of injector huked to intake part bhine throtel bodee shood hav airbox attached if no box hand coveing baral wood choke that cilindar

yes by choking it i know that it was not getting gas on that side the injector was not doing its job still waiting on new injectors well let you know when they comes in
