2004 Sabercat 500

Does anyone have any experience with this sled? Being new to the sport, it looks like a good sled for someone that is looking for a steady sled with some decent pick up. I'm thinking of buying one.

Any opinions?

Thanks.

they are nice sleds if you NEED elec start and reverse, but i think the f-5's are about the same price. if they are, i would get the f-5 because of the hp difference. f-5's have almost/over 20 hp more than the sabercat. you can probably get an f-5 with reverse for the same price as a sabercat with reverse and elec start. if you're thinking about those kind of sleds, also look into the polaris xcsp 500. those are some REAL nice sleds. i personally dont like the graphics on the sabercats. the '05 sabercats have some awesome graphics tho. i like that black sabercat ALOT more than the graphics on the new firecats. i still think the '04 f-cat graphics are the best so far.....maybe 'cause i have 1

the '03 and '04 firecat and sabercats aren't all that stable at slow speeds because of the narrow track. BUT ride that thing hard and it'll keep takin more. I've got an '03 f5 and love the thing. When my Dad rides it he always tells me how tippy it is but he rides slower then i do.
