I just pulled up on my tank cap and it feels like there is a big frozen block in there. What the hell do I do now? Dry gas? I dont have somewhere warm to put it.

Oh man that sucks, take a torch to it to melt the ice . So the cap is stuck in the ice? Take the tank and seat off adn bring it inside to the ice will melt since you cant take the hole sled in. Then drain the gas and find out why there's water in there! If its fresh then you're station had water in there gas. Change stations or start using isopropyl based deicer regularly. Hope this helps.

if the gas is frozen, it needs to be thawed, removed, and discarded. let the sled thaw, and refill with premium fuel and a can of seafoam to the tank. only way around it. it needs to be put somewhere when it can thaw....hairdryer is not a bad idea but hairdryers and gas tanks dont get along, so if you like your face, i wouldnt do it.

To remouve tank; take the bolts off dash to loosen it(6 bolts in total), remouve 2 nuts in tank poutch attaching it to the tunnel, then take the fuel lines and fuel pump power off and you're donne.

LOL. Its supposed to be warmer tomorrow, around 30 degrees. It should thaw out. Then ill syphon all the old gas out and replace it and add dry-gas. I dont know where to get seafoam.

I suggest that you get gas from a differnet gas station seem the one your going to either is watering down there gas or they have a shitty supplyer dont bother with drygas go with seafoam

i beat a hot shot on the trails yesterday rocking a 2005 f7 efi sno pro that was worked to the gills. but that was only because i out rode him. a sled is only as good as its rider. we picked about a 5 mile lengh of trail at about midnight last night and had at it. good times.

Nice! I wish I was riding, I would be if i just added seafoam or dry gas before. Hopefully tomorrow or tuesday my sled will be ready. BTW I ride with a guy with a 4-stroke lol. Its an arctic cat 660 4-stroke that tops out at 60 mph.

the funny thing is, he was at the bar i was eating at and just bragging and showboating his sled, pounding beers. i could tell he didnt know a thing about riding, he said he traded his plow truck for the sled, and we were talking bout the mods and once he mentioned he had a can and how fast he was, i knew it was on. plus the idiot wasnt registered or insured.
