Help wiring for 94 580 EFI Artic Cat

My brother has a 1994 580 EFI Arctic Cat that has a wiring problem. Does anyone know where I can get good set of diagrams for the sled. He bought a generic shop manual but it doesn't seem to show his sled. There seems to be a short that draws down the battery and then the sled dies. He can start it with the pull starter but it dies again. It does not have electric start but it does have EFI and without the battery, that does not work. There seems to be a coil that works as a generator.

Any help is appreciated.

The stator / magnito charges the battery, there is also a rectifier as well as a regulator! Sounds like the rectifier is out. As for a wire diagram BC Dan had one don't know if it the same or not or if he still has ?

Check behind the battery for an inline fuse. If this is blown, the battery can not charge.
