THere's obviously an obstruction of some sort in the tank. Fuel should come right out of the line. Is there anything between the line you pulled off and the tank (ie, fuel pump, etc.)?

Also, maybe the pickup line came off in the tank.
Once it gets below half full, it can't get any fuel.

Ok First Were I Took The Fuel Line Off Is Right At The Tank , Before The Filter, I Can Now See Fuel At The Filter But Nothing In The Filter.
Today I Will Go Buy A New Filter, And See How That Goes, Still Not Sure How Much Fuel Is In The Line Or If It Will Run Out When I Pull The Line Off The Filter.
Some One Said Somthing About A Pick Up Hose, How Can You Tell If Its Off, And How Do You Get It Back On , Is It Connected To The Fuel Shut Off Valve?
I Would Like To Thank You For Replying To My Questions, this Is My First Time Here And It Seems Like There Are Some Really Nice Folks Here, some Of The Others I Saw , The People Just Wanted To Rip On Each Other. Thank You Again And Hope You Get Lots Of Snow Its Snowing Now Here In Detroit.:d

This may sound stupid but Make a seal over the filler side in the tank where your gas cap is and blow. I did that to one of my powders and had some air blockage neve rhad a problem since.

Since you have a half full tank, apply some suction to the fuel line or pressure into the tank and see if you get any fuel. If not, you can take the fitting off th tank and see if the line is still there.

Hey Guys ,
Thanks For All The Tips, Here Is An Update.
Replaced The Fuel Line And Filter Today, Have About A 1/4 Tank Of Gas, Pressureized The Tank , I Could See Gas Sort Of Spraying Into The Fuel Line Right Up To The Carb , But Still Did'nt Fill The Filter.
Sprayed Some Either Into The Jugs And It Started Right Up And Ran For About 2 Minutes, Probly Ran Out The Fuel That I Forced Into The Lines.
So I Now Know The Filter And Lines Are Clear, But Still No Fuel Being Pulled Into The System.
One Of You Said Maybe The Pick-up Line Fell Off, Well The Fuel Valve Is Right Next To The Oil Tank And Coolant Overflow So Just Taking The Valve Off Is More Of A Chore, Iam Going To Try Filling The Tank And See Want Happens.
Stay Tuned, I Will Keep You Informed
Thanks Again:d

Before you fill the tank, you said you blew into the tank from the filter? You likly blew the pick up line off! Take a flash light and a coat hanger and go fishing! There is about a 16" piece of fuel line and a brass screen on the end in the tank! with about 1/4 of a tank unscrew the fitting on the tank where the fuel line goes and the pickup line will go on the other end! Cut an inch off both ends, heat up the hose and really push to get it back on! Put her back together and with the gas cap off blow into the tank, this will flow gas to the pump. It would also be good to remove the pump and atleast clean it, just make note of where all the hoses go to! Good luck!

Well, when you told us that it ran until it got to 1/2 tank, we knew exactly what happened.
Good that you have it fixed. Get you friends to join here too, the more the merrier.
