oil consumption...

How much oil does a wildcat 700 efi use? could you see it go down after an hour of riding?

yea in my 1990 prowler it guzzles oil i will put a quart in and i will go for a 40 mile ride and its allready gone. i know its using too much oil becasue everytime i pull out the spark plugs they are black as night. what should i do?

Have the oil pump adjusted, it is usually just a cable adjustment. Are you sure you have the right size main jets in the carbs for the temperature and altitude you are running it in? Sounds like you might be running way too rich. On the EFI I'm not sure.

Make sure the cable isn't out of the adjuster, this will make it way off!
(down between the carbs)

if i got the oil adjusted right would this effect gas milage. what else would effect gas millage. casue i get like 6 mpg and i should be getting 15. any hints on adjusting for better fuel economy. my clutch needs work but is still usable would that effect mpg?

A properly tuned and working clutch will help with the mileage, yes.
