magnetic carb switches

My throttle lever bushing is a little sloppy wich seems to be in some way in line with the carb magnet switches. I just have to move the lever a fration of an inch and I get spark. Is there a way to bypass these magnets or a way to bypass the throttle position switch. Thanx FB

What year and model?
There is a replacement bushing for the throttle lever that will help.

Unplug and connect the ends together.
