Gas Gauge

So my gas gauge float assembly broke on my 03 F7. Just seeing if anyone knows how to remove the assembly from the body of the tank?

RJ, thank you very much for ur input, but still that diagram doesnt help with the removal of the assembly from the tank... if it is a treaded assembly into the tank body or what...

I looked it up, the part # you can click on it and it says the part is "press fit".

Looks like there is enough lip to pry it out.
Better yet, call the service dept of the nearest dealer and ask them.

Checked my service manual & couldn't find a procedure, but I think RJ's right, just pry it up from the outside.
