1998 zrt 800 repair questions

i havent picked my sled up from the dealer yet after a carb tune up and inspection. i sent it because im an auto tech new to sleds. im told i need to replace the shaft that drives the water pump and a seal, and i need to pull the motor.

im just looking for any tips on the repair, the engine has shims added to align the clucth, am i going to throw this off by pulling it or is putting it back the way i found it good enough.

also im installing a used roller driven clutch because mine was sticking and i dont believe its roller, and a new or used driven clutch because mine is just shot. any tips on that would be appreciated.

its a real nice sled in absolutly mint condition, im hoping to ride it for a season or two, and then possibaly do some upgrades or move on to a new sled but im leaning torwards upgrades like a big bore kit, or just leave it alone. in any case id like to keep it mint
