1990 prowler

i am thinking about taking of some of the suspesion parts (spindles, a-arms, and all other stuff) and spray painting it. any ideas? or advice? how hard its it?

Lightly sand all the parts first, so the paint will stick better.

is removal of these parts hard? and would sandblasting them be better?

I have a guy by me that will sand blast and powder coat most parts for like $100! You might want to ask around!

i did all my painting myself on those parts, just give it a good sanding, then spray paint. it actually held up really well for me, and looked very good. i had an older machine, like yours, so the paint is probably already thinner and so the new coat will stick to the metal better. might try a primer/base then your color you want too.

the easiest way to take the suspension out for easy removal of parts, is to remove the 4 bolts on the side of the tunnel, and the whole suspension will just drop right out. then it is real easy to take apart. hope this helps!
