Seafoam

I got a new bottle 16oz, should I just pour it all in and add some more gas to the top?? Heard I should put just a little in the oil so it'll go through that line too, this a good idea?

Never heard of putting it in the oil? I'd be affraid of thining it out ? As for just putting it in and adding some fresh gas, this is no substatute for pulling and cleaning the carbs, unless you want to overhaul the motor as well!

I'd be hesitant to put it in the oil since it is a solvent, but I guess I don't know how this would be any different than putting it in the gas and then letting it mix with the oil.

This stuff is actually snake oil that works LOL!! we've used it in the past in the gas of our work trucks, transmissions, and have even injected it into the vacuum lines. If you do use it in your oil, it will be fine, just done over do it so it thins it to water....maybe a few cap fulls per tank of oil is about all i would do, but i highly doubt you'd reuly need it in the oil system, just stick with the gas tank. It's flamable, it'll burn, just do the ratio per bottle since it will make the sled run like doo doo if you get too much mixed in.

but yeah, this stuff works had more than one tranny over the years that was'nt acting just right, lil seafoam and she was good as new again.

I run it through the vaccum lines on my cars all the time, it does a great job with sticky injectors. I pull the PCV and stick it into a cup of seafoam. It smokes like crazy.

If your gonna keep the truck/car your putting it in, in the past I would dump the entire can in, drive it for a day or two at most, then change fluid in the tranny. I was being anal, and i do have buddies that have just put the can in the tranny and left it there without changing fluid with no ill effects.

Works great for the injectors too, better that injector cleaner.
I put only 2 capfulls into a full tank of gas.
