95 ZRT 800 suspension problem

Well, we had a guy bring his suspension skid only in to us to replace the rear limiter strap because he couldnt figure out how to do it and that the suspension would bottom out and not come back up when installed on the sled. Well, we replaced the strap for him and he was thinking the strap makes the suspension come back up, he obviously does not know the meaning of a limiter strap. Well, He is now extreamly pissed because his suspension is still bottoming out, he refuses to bring us the entire sled all put togather. He said he replaced the rear shock and it still does it. What else could it be? He wants to take us to small claims court saying we messed it up even when he did the labor of removing and installing the skid. So we told him to bring it to a semi-local Arctic Cat dealer, but before we hear from him again, i would like to know what the problem could be, maby make a suggestion for him.
thanks,
mike

Weak or not adjusted springs, broken springs, lack of lubrication that is causing it to bind, .
