i was wondering if i can use the regular arctic cat mineral oil or if i have to buy oil cuz ive got a jug of the regular stuff already.

If it's new under warranty, run what your manual says to run. If it's not under warranty, you can run whatever type oil you want. Mineral Oil is fine in that engine, but I would make sure that it it compatible with what is currently in your tank.

If the tank has synthetic in it, I would not add mineral to it. I would run it till you had very little oil left in it, suck the rest out and then fill it back up with the mineral oil. The alternative is to suck some of the oil out of the tank, and add some of your mineral oil to that oil in a clear jar and see if they are compatible. If they separate, do not mix them in your oil tank.
