I got a letter from Arctic Cat stating that the oil pump is inconsistent and may result in overheating, piston sticking, and potential catastrophic engine damage. I guess this is what you have to face having the first model year. First, a gas return valve shutting closed, now this.
On the upside, they sent a $100 gift certificate and a certificate for 1 free gallon of APV oil, about $30.00. In the meantime, they suggest using 16 oz per 10 gal of oil to gas in the tank along with the oil pump.
Oh well, it's still a great sled
