Hi I was wondering is it possible to put reverse on this machine because I know a guy who has one to sell that came off a 99 440 bear cat. If so is it hard to install.

No problem. The cover and gears will need to be changed, but the linkage may be different?

so is the cover and gears costly and do I need to buy new linkage are shorten the other one

try to find used if you can!!A new reverse kit is around $500. And the shift lever is another $125

Hi again the one I know for is a handle, linkage gear and chain and chain case cover. It came off a 1999 bear cat I want to put it on a 1998zr 600 that has no reverse. He is asking $250.00

Check the center to center of the bearing holes, they might be different from the BearCat to the ZR.
