I'm looking at purchasing my first sled. I have ridden others but never had my own. i'm looking at a 95 580EXT efi. was wondering if this is a good sled for trail riding and ditch hopping. what is the HP on this sled and how well does it accelerate. don't care to much on top speed as long as it is over 80mph.

I'd stay away from EFI. Harder to work on!

EFI= less maintenance.
No carbs to contend with.
Always starts when carbed sleds wont.
Use Seafoam at the beginning of the season to ensure that the injectors are clean.
