When you try to run it, what is your peak rpm?
I ask because if you do not tune the secondary to match, you will actually loose some of the performance from having both clutches properly tuned.

Loosen the driven spring a notch. I believe a green or gr&yel in the primary but you don't want to go to 4000 4200 maybe but 4500 is a good rpm as long as you don't use the notched weights, thats what makes it slam in.

No, you have to tune both together.

If the peak rpm is not exceeding 8400, you will need to change the helix and spring in the secondary.
If it is over that, you are out of the power band and need to bring it back down by moving the spring into the #2 hole. This will also change by at least 200rpm the engagement rpm.
