switching from regular to synthetic??

i was wondering if there is anything that i need to do
if i want to switch from regular to synthetic. (ams oil)
ive got two zrs and i put the new exhaust and efi chip
on my 99, and i figured it wouldnt hurt to run synthetic.
ive only heard good things about amsoil too. any advice
would be greatly appreciated.

Just run the dino-oil down as low as you feel safe with Then just refill with the syn I've used Amsoil Interceptor for several years & have had zero issues.....power valves stay clean as a whistle!!

ANY synthetic is better than dino. You'll like it!

i swapped the old oil and gas in both sleds today. and amazingly they run better.
(duhh). it was less smokey, but i can in part attribute that to the junk gas thats
been in them all summer. i am running the amsiol interceptor, which is recommended
for power valve motors, in my 99 zr 600 efi.(non power valve). i dont think its gonna matter, and thats all they had at the store. thanks for the info guys, and actually to take all the guess work out of it, i just syphoned almost all of the oil out of the oil tanks. pretty easy except for that small mouth full of that 2 stroke
oil. thats what i get for using a piece of black hose at night. lol.
