A flywheel puller is needed.
loosen the big nut, attach the puller, make it snug, then use a no rebound (deadblow hammer) and smack it. the flywheel should pop off.

i have a puller i dont know if its a flywheel puller but it gets to all thre bolts. the next part i am trying to under stand. i make it snug hit with a deadblow and smack it. right in the middle that doesn't hurt the crank or any thing does it. and do i need to make sure everything goes back the same way when installing it or is one way only

there is a key in the shaft so it can only go back together one way. Mark the stator against the mount so that when you replace it, it will be in exactly the same place.

Don't thread the puller bolts too far into the flywheel or you'll damage the windings on the stator!!

Try taking the nut completely off and the washers too. Then spray it with PB Blaster! Put just the nut back on till it is flush with the end of the crank!

If it is anything like yanking a clutch, it could take some time. Tighten the puller & let it set o'nite, Do it again & again.... Don't be afraid to give the puller bolt a good whack with a big brass hammer. The hammer part is even mentioned in the manual. Good luck, keep at it!!
