Question Can it be fixed???

So last spring I was given a new hood/cab for my sled. My old one has a crack and is warped over the exaust. The new one is in descent shape but it has sun damage as seen in the pics. I'm taking off the graphics and getting somme custom made. So my questing is... can the damage be fixed without getting it repainted. I was hoping to take the "mothers powerball" or something of the sort with some plastic polish to see if I can make it shine ! lol Thanks alot, Stephan.

Some rubbing compound will put the shine back into it.
