93 ext Mt Cat Revisited....

ARGGGGG

Ok, when It was a little warmer out, (two days ago) I had the ext 580 runing like a kitten., started first pull, and idled no problem at around 1700 rpm..

Now that it is colder again 40-50's, she will not start, or I have to pull the daylights out of it to get it to fire up.

This is getting to be a mind numbing experiance for me.

I have cleaned the carbs, reset them to stock. Tried with and with out the harness connected, disconnect the mangicic carb switches.

ANY idea here what I could be missing? I thought the stator, but doesnt that fail when the sled is warm?

They are attached to the cables that screw into the top of the carb, kind of on one side, not the slides.
