seat repair, cover or replace? 01z440

as recently mentioned, or maybe i havent..cant remember, but I went and bout a few sleds this week. On one sled, the 2001 Z440, it has a split in the seat (about 8 inches) in the seam closest to the gas tank. What are my options to fix this? find a used one? cover it? sew it (haha yea right) I know for sure i dont want to leave it open to the elements. thoughts?

you can sew it...not with thread but with something heavier like fishing line and a good heavy duty needle....it'll be very inexpensive, we did it to two of our sleds before last season and it worked out great!

Pull the cover off & take it to any upholstery shop.....shouldn't be too much to fix. They will have the correct thread & the machine to do a decent fix!
