Changing sliders.

This might sound really stupid do I change the sliders on my 90 Jag. Do I have to drop the suspension???

Unbolt the front of the slider from the suspension, pick the sled off the ground and line up the holes in the track with the front edge of the slider and use a small block of wood or a punch big enough to drive the slider out the rear of the track. You may have to loosen the track a little. Once they are sticking out you can pull them off with a pair of vise grips. Cut the new ones the same lenth as the old and drive them back through the hole and install the bolt. Wd-40 on the sliders make it easier to drive them back on. Good luck.
