Question breaking pistons on snopro

I keep blowing the skirts off the piston on the clutch side. On my 2001zr440 L/Q. I have timing set at -1 and have 290 jets in it I am running 93 octane in it. Anybody have any ideas why it keeps doing this. Thanks

get a telescoping gauge and a mic, and measure both cylinders to see if the ID of the cylinder is the same. Measure both top and bottom. Get specs from dealer. That would be my suggestion on what to check. Oh...and make sure your base gasket is ok and that there is no break in it, cause just a little draft of air will lean out mixture.
