The mags have given the lowdown. The 8 is by far it seems. A little more hp and torque. Stifer chassis. better ergos. More options ( seat adj wind shield adj foot well etc. Reverse is kool too. wider track better rear suspension oh and did I mention more pony!

Good question. I've been looking at the F8 this year and have been waiting to hear some testomonials about them. Not much out there yet as this is its first year. What I do know is it is much heavier than the F7 (about 40 lbs) and has about 10 HP more than the F7. Also the rider positioning and chasis are different. They are supposed to be stiffer and the positioning is supposed to cancel out the weight. I just bought my wife the new f6 which is on the same chasis and will give me an idea of the changes but I am waiting for snow to test it out.

They should be close! But the 8 should be a better ride.

The F8 only shows 2 more HP than the 06 F7, same with the XF7's and XF8's, only 2 hp difference? They don't post torque values, maybe that's where the difference is.

From what I remember reading they keep saying the F7 is 140 but as I recall they only pulled 138? The F8 claimed 145 hp and they were able to pull that, and more torque.
So I still beleve the 8 would be faster stock, Mod we don't know yet time will tell.
