Zrt 600??

I have a 1996 ZRT 600 Trip, i jsut bought the sled and it ran good for about 10 mins then the far right cylinder wont run untill its at about 5500 RPM, im not familiar with this sled, what would be rong with it? what was the deal with these sleds, open for anything there is to know about it thanks

You fouled that plug. On mine I usally have to jet that hole 1 size leaner than the rest. To get it to run right you will just have to play with the jetting of all three holes depending on elevation.

Could be a reed problem as well. Check your carbs and chokes. Does it do it with a new plug as well. Might be jetted to rich even. Is it hard starting when it is cold?

If it was the reeds though,that cyclider would no accelerate at all.Espesially higher rpms.I had the same problem with my 96ZRT. Make sure the carbs are cleaned well. What does the plug look like??

I had that with my middle cylinder, dumped old fuel, and removed cleaned carbs. It still was there but only at ilde, I touched the plug boot and it was firing I let go and the miss reappeared, pulled bood apart and condensation had corroded terminal end screw that screws into the wire, cut back till no green was seen and replaced boot (new), All was well
