ZL550 clutch springs

Hey everyone. I need a little help here. I have a 2001 ZL550 that my daughter is going to drive this year(she's 13 and a good driver). The sled had some clutch work done, but I was going to put it back to stock. However, the stock secondary was a yellow spring which I presently do not have. I do have a black one. What is the difference in the performance of these springs? Will she/I be happy with the black or should I get a yellow. The rest of the clutches will be stock. I also have a 54-50 helix from D&D if using that with the black will give her a smooth take-off without worrying about over or under-revving. Thanks for the help. P.S. There is snow on Tug Hill!!!!! Happy Trails
