I need a starter cup for my 1972 Arctic Cat Panther with the 303 Wankel (rotary engine). Thanks......... also, is the 303 Wankel rotary engine a rare engine? or is the whole sled rare due to that engine? b/c i have never seen any other 303 Panthers for sale with the 303. i was just curios, Thanks alot

I remenber those. In the day with a few adjustments they seemed to have no top end limit. My Rupp was new and he did not have much a the line but would walk away from me durring any rolling start of over 25 to 30 mph. He was the trail breaker cause he would not spin and could plow through the drifts. Nice sled I would hold on to it .

Yes it will glow red like a overheated wood stove. not so obvious during the day but at night you can see a definate glow of about a third of the pipe as I remember. Also when it did get stuck there was a reason they were called lead sleds. Thanks for the memories.

THe 303 Panther was only built in 2 model years, '69 and '70. They were not a large production sled either.
They are now quite rare, especially if it still runs.
