Backfired

Hi, i just ran my 1993 lynx mountain cat 340.After doing the normal stuff after it's been sitting for a while. I changed out the fuel lines, replacecd the fuel pump, spark plugs, new gas,oil and cleaned the carb twice.

it ran for a bit but shut off after moving about 2to 3 feet. The only time it moved more than 2to3 feet it stopped and then backfired, now it won't start again after trying everything i could think off.

Any Ideas??

You need to get an inline spark tester (avail at auto parts stores) and see if you have spark. Usually when they backfire and die, the CDI pooped out.
