Is this a good sled? Horsepower? Top speed? Should i get one for $3000 from a friend?

This is a good sled. About 100 hp. Speed 100mph + but not much more than that and on a good run. $3000 sounds a little high. The sled cost about $6000 new and is 5 years old. Price also depends on miles and condition.

I saw a 1999 Zr 500 EFI at a dealer around here for around $2500. I think it had 3,000 miles on it. So I would wager that sled to be worth about $2800 if it has less than 3,000 miles. Take another $300-500 off for every 1000 miles after.

i looked at kelly blue book value and its at $3005.00 retail.. not a bad price but could be better!!!!! it a good all around sled 100mph no problem.. also depends on milage??? and what the sled comes with???? cover ,trailer, spare part etc....
