carbide question...

I'm putting 96 studs on my 2002 ZR500 and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a pattern. Also was length carbide should I put on the skis?

I buy most of my after market stuff out fo J R graham Powers sports catalog.
Great prices, tons of cool stuff. They have patterns there also.
Depending on your rear suspension setup, probably 4"or 6" for the skis would work good.

I think it's worth the money to buy a stud template. Really helps to get them in the correct pattern.

If you don't have a pattern, you'll have to do a lot of measuring. And that could take a long time.

I would go with a double backer pattern, with support nuts. you will need at least one really good drill and a lot of chraged up batterys. also you will need a paint marker. if you buy a set of studs they will sent you a cardboard template.

Make sure you get the specially made drill for drilling the holes. And a little tip when drilling with this drill:
Use high speed , push lightly, and let the drill do the work. If you push too hard , you'll be one tired sore soldier.
