efi vs carb?

I have a 2003 ZR 900 and a 2002 ZR600 they are both carb models, wondering what the pros and cons of these are, they better or worse, and what the price difference between these models, such as carb vs efi? thanx Bob

EFI automatically compensates for temp, altitude, baro pressure, etc. If you do your riding primarily in one area (same altitude +/-) carbs will work just fine once they are set up. On a new sled, I think EFI is about a $200 premium. 2 nice sleds you have....be careful & have fun!!

I don't think there's much if any of a power gain, but they are much more fuel efficient, and a lot crispier when you hit the throttle.

There is a slight gain, not too noticable unless you put two sleds that are nearly identicle next to each other except one is carbed and the other EFI.
The EfI sled will be slightly quicker off the line as the throttle response is better.
