Does Amsoil improve engine performance. I have a srock sled and have been using arctic cat oil. i was just wondering if Amsoil makes a diiference in performance or gas mileage.

well id assume artic cat oil is good but yes oil can make quite a difference, i use amsoil and everythings workin good

oil is important from my perspective if you got the right oil you can save a motor. on my car i wrecked the oil pan and lost all my opil and if i wouldnt have had a slow burning oil my engine would be toast.

I use Klotz synthetic. I used to have to clean my RAVE valves every year using Wally oil or Castrol. Now I just give them a check every 2 to 3 years or so. Great stuff, keeps the engine cleaner.

Don't think Amsoil will improve performance or gas mileage, but it will provide better protection against wear & carbon build-up vs petroleum based oil. I use Amsoil Interceptor since I have power valves; less expensive Injector will work well in engines w/o PV's. I have found I can buy Amsoil cheaper than any other synthetic.
