i want to rebuild my clutches this year and have kit i got with the sled,
it has orange with green dots on primary spring, yellow secondary spring
and what i beleive 10 gram or oz weights what should this set-up give me for engagement rpm and how should i set this up as far as what hole to put secondary spring in. it is a '98 ZR 500. this kit was on this sled before i got it.
get a green secondary, advance it one. then get an orange white primary with 51gram weights. this set up will run great with a stock helix for the trail.
thank you sir i was hopin' you woukd chime in, you told me last year what to use to get engagement down but i cant find what you told me and i have these in stock. i am golng to a dealer this week for other parts and can get this stuff
get a green secondary, advance it one. then get an orange white primary with 51gram weights. this set up will run great with a stock helix for the trail.
if you want even more go with a black blue primary spring.
while we're on the subject-
in the midst of upgrading from 1.25" to a 2" lug. I dropped a tooth on the top gear (making it 22) , adding slp single pipe and silencer. Current spring is black/green (stock). bring on the suggestions
thats cool 'cause i am looking at a '96 XCR 600 tonight, supposed to be mint
with carb float issue and the guy wants to trade even for the cat, go figure, so i will be needing POL info if the deal goes through.
