Zr Engine Mounts

Why is the 440 and 580 mounts different from the 700?

Without knowing the details, there are several reasons they would be different.......
Different vibration absorbtion characteristics
Different rubber durometer/hardness
Different bolt patterns

Without knowing the real gist of your question, it's hard to give you a specific answer.

ZR engine mounts

your correct that probally not the correct question, I have 1995 ZR 700 and I want to put that engine in a 1997 ZR chassis, I do know that the 1995 ZR 700 had motor mount breakage problems and I was thinking I may solve that problem by changing to the plate mount instead of the four separate mounts in the '95. thanks for your help...Eric
