F7 windshield.

Folks,
Anyone ever replaced a windshield on a 2004 F7? How do those round black nuts come out?
Thanks for any help.
Jim

Looks like a plastic snap cap over a machine screw? Look it up here:Brown's Leisure World - Home Page

Don't know the details, but I've heard there are parts that will easily get away & disappear into parts unknown, so be very careful when removing hardware. When I get a chance, I'll look in my service manual & let you know.

Yup! Looked in the manual & it's just as SEG said. Pop off the screw caps/covers & remove the screws. They thread into an "expansion nut".
Good Luck!

New windshield in...

Guys,
Thanks for the help. Just popped off the black caps as mentioned and removed 4 screws. Found 4 big O rings holding onto the inside "T" protrusion
on the windshield ends that needed removing. Easy 30 minute job provided
u don't loose any parts! I recommend getting 4 new expanding rubber nuts
as the original ones were in tough shape.
Thanks again!
Jim
