I have a 1995 Puma 340 with a single rider seat; I understand that there was also a 2-up version of the Puma 340. Is it possible to purchase a 2up seat for my standard Puma, or were the chassis lengths different?

I would be happy to buy an aftermarket seat if possible, just need a flat seat with a backrest so I can take my 7yr old along for rides more comfortably...

The seat was the same length be it 1 up or 2. It just bolts on. Check E-Bay.

There is a setup called "buddy seat" that attacheds on over the trunk, is rated for persons up to 120 lbs. Add the back rest and you're golden.

There are also after-market seats available, the Denniskirk catalog has one listed that would be perfect for what you are doing... 7 y/o in the front is a pain, their helmets keep whacking yours (been there, done that, bought them their own sleds

)

Thanks for the ideas so far, I did look at the strap on buddy seat - might be an option. My artic cat dealer is not the best, but is it possible to simply order the entire seat assbly new? On the Artic Cat parts website, I could order the individual parts...didnt know if it is possible to get the whole unit.

It is one unit, the seat and gas tank are one piece.
