hi guys, just wondering if the 00 and 02 pistons are compatible. i looked online at the microfiche, and there's 2 different part numbers....not looking good for me. also, i noticed that the 02 ones are a little rounded underneath. mine are more square. now i'm just wondering what would happen if its possible to put the 02 pistons in my 00 sled. will there be trouble? i know i know, i should only stick in the right pistons in, but i was at haydays and picked them up at a decent price. so any feedback will be appreciated. thanks

I think the cylinders are different between the two (different port positions).

i would put the right pistons in they are made for that motor. the 02's are for a total differnt motor style. you can get some after market ones rather cheap. good luck

I dont think that not putting them in is out of the question, the only reason they chopped the skirt is for more rev. check your pin clearance and try em. if you dont want how much do you want for the set?
