Question 2002 firecat snopro

i'm looking at a 02' snopro on a firecat chassis. it has been raced and has about 70 hours on the sled. it is premixed w/ 110 octane and 93 50/50 the guy who owns it said that it has a ripped seat and bent handlebars from being on it's side. what do you guys think about it he's selling it for 2,200 is it worth the money?

Just depends on your plans for it.....trail riding is out of the question without some major reworks to engine & cooling system. Pre-mix is a PITA especially with the fuel requirements you cited. Engines are high-strung so reliability may be an issue.
Just a couple of things to consider........

It's obviously been beat...And like IRS said, you can't trail ride it the way it is now. Keep that in mind.

alright man take my advise on this one i had one and let me tell you it is the biggest pain in the ass to ride. Yes it is fun but maintance and change you have to do are not worth the the time and effort. Buy a trail sled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The f series sled is great but I am a cat machanic and that chasie did not hold up the best for racing there are a couple weak points. get a f-5 or f-6 and save your self the the troubles.

i was going to trade my mxz 670 for it. i'm still thinking about it though, i would like to start racing this season. i have heard of trail heads that you can get for racing sleds so they can run on pump gas? do you guys know anything about that?

thanks!

yes you can put trail heads on it and it should work with the proper jetting changes. the only down fall besides what i listed up top is the top speed sucks even with gearing changes its still slow in my opion

you dont need trail heads an 02, it runs on pump gas w/oil injection. if he has changed anything it could be different but as a stock sled the 02 ran of pump.

if you are going to race get an 04 or higher. less head achs.
