More probs / fan to liquid swap

okay so as i was further taking apart my motor i noticed that with one cyl off and the other complete minus the head the crankcase makes a gurgling hissing sound so there should be a seal there right to seperate the 2 cyls ? is that gone or do they normaly have a lil leakage? if it is gone im assuming is alot of work so my next question is can i swap in a newer reed induction artic cat twin that is liquid cooled and cool it with a rad and a fan or if i have to use heat exchangers woul under the board polaris exchangers work? also are those new motors suzuki and will they bolt to my motor plate ? i dont mind the extra work as i want some more power and speed from the sled thanks again to every one who has helped me

You have to to split the case to have the center seal changed and then you need to take it to a machine shop to have the crank pressed apart and back togther.

If the engine is of the same size, it should bolt in and line up with no extra work, but I would still check it if you do. You can use a radiator and the exchangers both, and you don't need a fan in there. The earlier versions of the liquid cooled sleds used a radiator without any fan and had no problems. All you need is a good air flow over the radiator.

Try eBay. They have the most for the least money.

before you go and spend your money are the cylinders wet by any chance? If they are that is probly your hissing sound. If you have the abiltiy pressure test the bottom end you will have to put your heads on first, but it is a lot cheaper. You can plug off one side of the motor and see if it holds air. Be sure to not go over 8 psi though or you might blow out a seal. good luck hope its a cheap fix for ya
