I JUST BOUGHT A 96 ARTIC CAT EXT/EFI 580. IT HAS 2600 MILES ON IT AND IS IN GREAT SHAPE. IS THERE ANY KNOW PROBLEMS THAT FREQUENTLY HAPPEN TO THIS SLED? IS IT A GOOD RELIABLE SLED? WHAT ARE SOME PROS AND CONS? WHAT IS THE TOP SPEED?

I have the same sled, like it alot. I have never had a problem with mine ever. With a 140lb. rider mine will go over 100mph. Its great for the ditches and trails.

Great sled! My wife rode one for 2 seasons with very little problems. Clutch Has to be rebuilt every season. other than that no problems at all. 4 or 5 of my buddies also have owned without any hassles. 90mph is a lot closer to actual speed for your sled which is still respectable even in 2005. Enjoy your new sled.
