So I had to take my primary clutch off to replace crank seals. In doing so I ruined the old clutch which it looks like it didn't have much life left in it. I got a new clutch off a 97 jag 440 and it fits fine but I noticed the clutch bolt I have from my original clutch seems to fit tight in a special Machined washer. Here's a picture of the washer and bolt and my new clutch. Can I use it as is or do I need to get a clutch bolt from the donor sled ?
Try without the washer and only a lock washer?
I would get the bolt from the new clutch!
Also the 97 may be set for a wider belt, no big deal it will work!
I test fit everything and it appears that it should work with the old washer and bolt. The clutch came from a friend of a friend and he's suppose to look to see if he still has the bolt and washer still
Well the guy can't find the bolt he had. So, I will have to use my old one. I'm going to have a new collar machined to fit inside and then use a nice lock washer
Ok so I have this 98% back together. Was able to do a few yard runs and man, was I impressed!!!! Anyways, I need to know how the lights are wired up. I know I had them before and the brake light is on and working but no headlights. I also need to find out how to wire the factory heated grips too.
