I have a 93 pantera efi 550 that has no spark I have read to check the fuse I found the fuse but it has no wires I don't know where they start or where they end up at plug into any help would be appreciated
On my key switch it make the starter turn over but the Bendix is bad this snowmobile was given to me the guy told me it ran but when I got it the cdi was missing so I did replace it with a used one because that part is discontinued and the battery was toast do I hooked up a battery with cables and the ecu did blink one red blink when I turn the key on I am new with snowmobiles so I appreciate any advice thank you
The battery type efi's had to have a pretty good battery to work properly. One blink is a normal start-up code. so that part would appear to be working properly. The EPROM in the ECU has a color code on it, and that color has to match the color of the ECU. On the 95 I had, there were yellow, red, and blue dots on the injectors, so you had to have the correct corresponding color on the EPROM. I am not sure on your 93 what colors were available for the 93. But they have to be the same.
I would really look for a factory repair manual, the EFI is a pretty complex system with a lot of sensors. The manual has testing procedures for all of them, and most can be done without the special tools AC uses.
So I did check starter switch and it was ok and I tried the jumper wire for the kill switch and it didn't change anything
