Updating my '96 ZRT 800 suspension

Been working on upgrading the ride on my sled, it's the only thing that made me want to sell it. I'm halfway done now, gonna start working on the front end today.

This is the old girl completely stock.

Here is the old girl with the new skid.

Closeup of the new skid.

This isn't a very hard project, I have directions for anyone that would like them. Off to the front end mods now....

That's awesome! What is the new skid out of?

Last year, I put a skid from an '02 ZR800 in my '96 Zr580. What a difference! I'd like to do something to the front, but don't know where to start. What are your plans?

I was told that the skid came from a '99 ZRT 600, but if you look at a diagram of that skid, there aren't the rail stiffeners on a stock one. So I am not completely sure, but it has some good stuff on it, and I am going to add heavy duty springs and a rear arm clicker shock from an '02 CCE skid to it this summer. As long as your ZR is an AWS 4 chassis, which I think it is, here is something you might be interested in, and this is what I am in the middle of doing to my Zert:
