I have a 96 zrt 600 and was wondering how hard would it be to make it a 800, could i just swap out parts and make it a 800 (kinda doubt it but figured i would ask)? I would like to get a t-cat but dont have the $$ and a big bore is way too much, so looking at my other options. thinking i would just get a 800 motor and stuff it in there but if they are half ways the same then no point. Also looking at any other mods that i am missing out on, got to keep my Skidoo and Polaris "friends" on there toes. lol

Sweet, i dont mind doing it just need to get started, might start with this guys setup from HCS: orange/white cat primary spring, 54g weights, yellow spring in secondary don't remember which hole, pulls great all the way through. I think I have 55/53 helix in there now as well, I know BM made a nice clutch kit but as they are out of biz now, did anybody else start offering one?

That sounds right around what I had figured for my 580, your set up is a little heavier, but with a 600 I think that would make sense. If you don't get any other replies on the subject, I would give Greg a call that KC recommended, and see what he thinks of that set up. KC knows his stuff, and if he trusts someone, that's good enough for me.

Impossible to get a 10hp gain with pods only!!
Except for drag racing, drawing warm air from under the hood has bee proven to actually cost hp {look up dyno results by C-note on ArcticChat.com}

Unless you have a way to direct cold air into the carbs with pods your only gain will be ease of access to the carbs.
