1990 Pantera Dash Lights

Hi everyone. Just bought a used 1990 Pantera 440 LC. Two dashlights, Heat (Red) and Cooler (Green). I figured out what the red one is, can anyone tell me what the Cooler or Green dashlight is for? Thanks

as far as i can rememeber, my 89 ha 3or 4 of those lights

red =TEMP (replaced by sunpro car gauge, i hate temp lights)

green= handwarmers i believe.. it never worked for me, bulb
must be out.

blue lights = high/low beams

i believe theres a yellow too.. it lights up when the oil (injection) is low in the tank.. this one still works :P

Thanks for the info. Curious about your temp gauge. What is the normal temp for these things to run? Just getting into sledding and rode fan cooled until I got this one, so I'm a newbie on LC. Thanks again.

well mine hangs around 115 - 120F... RARELY 130 F..if so for a VERY short time.

i find a gauge alot more practical as it says to me whats going on,. if the sleds is warmed up, or if the sleds is acting like it's GOING to overheat...

idiot lights tell you when the engine is cooked... i prefer to prevent it.. of course, if you dont look at it once in a while it will be useless

heres a pics of the gauge

it's a sunpro gauge i bought for 30$. fully mecanical no eletric sensors.. it cam with all the fittings necessary and just bolt right in instead of the other.. it's also has a back light and even at night i can see it well..

nice mod for 30$ easy to install get a drill with a hole saw the right size
