im just taking a guess i used to clean the carbs on mydirt bike i would take a bucket put the carb in it put gas doesnt matter what octtane then put half gas and half carb cleaner thats how i used to clean myn

so i hope that helps for you

Some carb cleaner products are BAD for the gaskets and plastic parts. Use the link SEG pointed you to...
