Assume you mean chaincase......I use Amsoil Chaincase oil, others use Klotz, OEM, or even automotive ATF. Lots of choices!!

There is another chat forum on this and the mfg uses gear oil 75w-90w Some people use used motor oil. Hope they were kidding on the used oil.

If you go to dealer use chaincase lube without reverse, cat transmission lube for models with reverse.

I don't get why people just don't spend the $4 and buy the right stuff. Like the above post said, Cat trans lube for reverse, Cat chaincase oil if it doesn't have reverse. Why would you even consider running ATF or motor oil considering the right stuff is $4? It's like wiping before you poop. It don't make sence.

If you do not want to buy the expensive stuff for a chaincase, you can use SAE 30 non detergent oil. I have used this for years in all my sleds and have no problems with chains stretching or wearing.
