ext 580

my friend just bought a 95 ext 580. someone told him that they are really unreliable. is there any truth to this? all he's really worried about is reliability.

we had one until about 3000 miles. No problems on it at all. The only repair was from when my uncle landed a jump wrong and popped off a bogie wheel. We sold it to him and he hasn't driven it in two years..... great sled though, handled very nicely. Oh, we had a 94 though, only kept it a year, tons of problems, traded that in on the 95.... cut our losses... i wish i could remeber what the problems were.... i was like 8...

my bother has a 96 ext 580 with 6,000 miles. All weve had to do was a clutch. Take care of it and its a good sled. Sled runs good for a 580. His is also efi.-Dave
