seting up choke cables

how do i set up the choke cables on my mid 90's i think 97 polaris 600 xlt i just put new ones on and would like to know if and how to adjust them and the sled just floods out and wont start
it poped off once and my arm is tierd so any info would be goo thanks!!

sorry guys wrong forum but do u guys know how to adjust them pretty much same carb i think

Chokes, more of a trial and error game. I do it by putting the choke plungers in the carbs and measuring the distance between the top of the plunger where it hooks and the top of the hole, the nadjust the cable screw to match it. It's trial and error with those. You'll have to take up slack once you thread the cable into the carb.
